Good Morning!

Random thoughts today. We have begun the season of evening school events, and last night was a Junior Honor Society shin-dig (my term, not theirs) before rushing home to catch the last half of Idol.

1) David Cook's Guitar Hero "tribute to Risky Business" commercial last night: We are dedicated Guitar Hero players in this house, and I did not notice David was playing a guitar controller in the commercial until after the Guitar Hero logo appeared at the end. ROFL. No, I wasn't trying to see his undies the whole 30 seconds.

2) Greece: Pedro showed me his pictures from when he and his wife went to Greece. (My travel photos rarely look like postcards. Somehow, most of his do.) I didn't realize there is graffiti on the Acropolis. The Acropolis! That is just shameful. Gorgeous country though! I would love to go there.

3) Dear Mr. Bush: For the thousandth time, it's not NUKE-U-LAR. Fermi is turning in his grave.

4) 64-year-old Senator Chris Dodd: ...has a three-year-old daughter? Wow. That is freaky.

5) Season Finale of "House": Finally saw it on the DVR. Amber's death scene was almost as sad as Denny's death on Grey's Anatomy a while back. Bust out the tissues.

  1. OMG, I didn't notice the controller either. Probably because my jaw was on the floor. Cookie's got some niiiiice legs. They totally needed to show the undies, though. Hey, Tom did !

  2. Yeah, but Archie had on boxers. More age appropriate. He did look cute, though. I'm sure all the tweenies almost passed out.
