A Guy Goes Into a Bar...

This iPhone prototype lost in a bar thing is neither an "embarrassing gaffe" nor a "clever stunt." I hardly believed it really happened last year. I eventually decided it might have been an accident. Claiming the exact same thing happened again makes it all the more suspicious. Please. Apple employees are not that stupid.

So, stunt- yes. Clever? Not so much. I'd file it under "embarrassing stunt."

Come on, Apple. Creative, exciting marketing is your forte. You're better than this.

One of our local news reporters is in Bastrop covering the wildfire this morning. The Facebook report:

"The glow seen in the sky against the dark of night is one of the eeriest things she's ever seen."
