Boy Behaving Badly

Adam Richman's behavior on Instagram truly shocked me. He has always seemed like a fun-loving, friendly guy on his shows and I was impressed by his recent weight loss. He looks healthy and a lot younger now.

If he inadvertently used a hashtag associated with dangerous behavior (I had never heard of it before either), he should just have apologized. Why the extreme defensiveness? And why so incredibly personal?

Now he thinks he deserves forgiveness for his reaction. Forgiveness for an incident of rage and nastiness- sure. But no one can be forgiven for telling another human being to kill herself. That is just shameful and so beyond the line. I don't think people will forget that.

Seriously, step away from the internet if you feel that sort of crazy coming on.

Bravo to Travel Channel for indefinitely postponing today's premiere of his new show.
