Funny Thing from Spamalot

I was just telling Kimberly about this. Forgot to note it in here.

There is a part in the Holy Grail movie, on which the play is based, where the Knights Who Say "Nee" suddenly declare themselves the Knights Who Say "Ecky Ecky Ecky Ecky Pikang Zoop Boing Goodem Zoo Owli Zhiv." In the Spamalot play here last weekend, the knight said, "We are now the Knights Who Say 'Ecky Ecky Ecky Ecky Pikang Zoop Boing Goodem Zoo Owli Zhiv- The eyes of Texas are upon you...." He put up his Longhorn fingers and started singing. It quickly became clear he was going to sing the entire song. Ahahaa! So everyone joined in and sang. (Not me, of course, but almost everyone else in the place. I didn't boo or anything.) It took like a minute. Hilarious. Then King Arthur's line is something like, "Okay, Knights who say 'Ecky Ecky..... whatever..." The extended singing made it even more funny.

So now we're wondering what they do there in other cities, especially where there isn't an obvious song reference. Hmm. I guess there may be a song relevant to most.
