In Bruges

Saw the movie In Bruges last night. Bruges is a beautiful city in Belgium.

When Colin Farrell's character Ray and his love interest Chloe first talk, they are alone on a street at night. He starts up this conversation with something about how "midgets" have a high rate of suicide. Chloe is smiling. My husband says to me, "I suppose you'd fall for that line, too."

People. If Colin Farrell raised an eyebrow in my direction, I'd fall for it.

When Chloe eventually walks away, she does one of the coolest things EVER.  When she gets about 15-20 feet from him, she tosses her card with her name and number over her shoulder onto the street. He runs over and picks it up. How awesome is it that he would have to still be watching her walk away at that point to be able to get her number?! Two thumbs up on that move.

It's a strange film, but the dark humor will crack you up throughout.
