I am glad you are finally back...it seemed like forever. Sounds like you and your family had a blast. I would have been on edge the whole time there was fog...all those 80s Horror Flicks would have been running through my thoughts.
It is tough to narrow down my vacation memories to just 10. Being a bartender with 3 days off per week allowed me to travel around with little or no preparation..so I don't know if I would consider it a vacation...but here it goes.
1) The WHOLE Hawaii experience...and I only stayed on Oahu.
2) Collecting rocks early in the morning on the beach in Puerto Escondido.
3) Watching karaoke in a dive called Dos Locos in Costa Rica.
4) Having a margarita on a very bohemian beach called Sayulita just north of Puerto Vallarta.
5) Driving and camping by myself on the south Rim of the Grand Canyon.
6) Driving with Fab through Mexico for about a week. We visited San Miguel de Allende...Leon/Guanajuato...Zacatecas...we had a great time.
7) Having coffee at Starbucks in the Zona Rosa of Mexico City...then touring the Bellas de Artes Palacio. AMAZING
8) Spending my birthday in New Orleans and tripping my tits off on acid. The quarter would never be the same.
9) Taking the Coffee Plantation tour in Huatulco.
10) Visiting Calgary and Banff.

Thanks for the welcome!

Hawaii!!! Love that place. Who doesn't, right?

What exactly is a "bohemian beach"? Or do I even want to ask? lol

A place where locals go...it is very non-comercial...no grand hotels..it is a place where surfers and artists hang out. Very low-key.

Oooh! Well that sounds fun. When people say "bohemian" I think "nekkid."
