PR for Paris

Monday, June 11, 2007

This morning on the radio, the DJs were talking about this whole Paris thing, and comparing it to the other celebrity news we've been overly caught up in before. They talked about Tonya Harding and OJ and those kinds of legal scandals. It was amusing and true. And on that note...

Paris' biggest problem to me is that she doesn't think she did anything wrong. Instead of crying that she was depressed in jail, didn't like the food and felt like she was in a cage (wouldn't all criminals like to get out for those reasons? Ahahahaa! Get in line, honey.), she should, even in a contrived speech, say out loud that she regrets repeatedly driving drunk and that she drove with a suspended license. That would be enough for the majority of people. Not me, of course, but most people. At least she would seem like she "gets" why she's even in jail at all.

And she says she just "acts dumb."
