Just Call Me "Wild Child"

For hours of fun, here's a very amusing link, gacked from J-Blo:

The Euphemism Generator

Went out with Scott, Julie, Vicky and Ed last night. We had pizza at this awesome place called Saccone's. Vicky is from New Jersey and she confirmed it is authentic "Jersey pizza." We went to the football game afterward. I had been warned that the other team was amazing. Those guys were fully twice the size of ours. They're definitely very good. And they beat the tar out of us. :( Also beaten- my alma mater, Clear Creek High, who was always in the pit of the district standings when I was there, so rock on CCHS kiddos! Fantastic job making it to this level!

While we were at the game, Lauren texted us that she and Jaxon were going to eat and then to get Jaxon's ear pierced. The time was later than the mall was open, so we asked where they were going to get the piercing done.

"Paradise Ink."

LOL. Well, there are two locations, one downtown and one on Burnet Road. Two teenagers downtown late on a Saturday night at a tattoo parlor was a no-go for me, but I might have been okay with the north location. Then it occurred to me that you have to be 18 to get services at a tattoo place anyway (or have a parent with you).

"Jim is driving."

Mmmmkay. (Jaxon got a conch piercing, which is through the cartilage, and your regular Claire's-type place won't do those.) It turned out, Jim AND Janeen took them, and they went to the Burnet Road location.

Exchange of the evening...

Janeen (to Lauren): I was so shocked when Debbie got a tattoo. It wouldn't surprise me at all if YOUR mom got one. She's a wild child!
Lauren: MY mom??
Jaxon: Lauren's mom??
Janeen: Yes!
Jaxon and Lauren: Ahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaa! No.
