Are You Ready for Some Football?

Last day with the kiddo at home. We're packing up a truck tonight and heading out in the morning. It's exciting and very weird at the same time. I'll just keep focusing on football to keep from lingering too long on the whole thing.

Our A&M season tix arrived yesterday! I think we're going to sell our extra two for both the Florida and LSU games, to make back a significant portion, if not all, of our expenditure this year.

Chad went to Tech and is a football fan. When I was at the office yesterday, I asked if he ever goes to games. He said that they haven't been in a while, because his little ones are too little and also that in Lubbock the hotel rooms fill up about a year ahead. (I'm very familiar with the hotel issue.) He asked me if we were going to the Tech/A&M game this year. "OH WAIT. That's right. You left your Big 12 family." We had a discussion about all this in spring. The sniping continues. :)

This year at A&M- new coach, new quarterback, new conference! It may not be the best season ever, but it sure will be fun to watch!

*Speaking of "football," a shout out to the US Men's Soccer Team, for successfully defeating Mexico for the first time in forever, the first time ever in Mexico. Woohoo!
