Officially Empty-Nesters

The girlie is moved into her house with her roommates! Mariel is a junior and Kim, Lauren's longtime friend, is a sophomore. They have one extra bedroom, so they'll probably get another roommate, but unlikely before next year or at least January.

It's such a beautiful house. Huge bedrooms. Our house has tiny bedrooms, so it's quite a change for her. I wish I had her ginormous closet.

(I see Google isn't flagging ginormous as a misspelling. Did Webster's decide enough of us are using it that it's a real word now? Well that's no fun!)

Lauren's room is gorgeous! She decorated it herself from floor to ceiling. It turned out really lovely with the IKEA decor she chose.

She's got over a week before school starts. Her football player friends have been there since the beginning of summer. Kim moved in yesterday with Lauren. Shannon moves into her apartment today. Justin will be moving into his dorm on Tuesday. Then it's a steady stream of people over the next several days. It's nice that they'll be able to hang out and settle in before the first day of classes. So exciting!
