...goes to Peter O'Riordan of TMZ.

Peter spoke with Lori Loughlin as she was getting in her car. Lori said she'd had an Irish Car Bomb and thought of him. Back in the studio, they explain that it's a drink. Everyone sort of groans at the reference. Peter says, "It's for killing Protestants, but Americans made it into a tasty treat."

Ha! He advises against ordering it in Ireland.

Recipe for an Irish Car Bomb from Drink Mixer-

3/4 pint Guinness® stout
1/2 shot Bailey's® Irish cream
1/2 shot Jameson® Irish whiskey

Add the Bailey's and Jameson to a shot glass, layering the Bailey's on the bottom. Pour the Guinness into a pint glass or beer mug 3/4 of the way full and let settle. Drop the shot glass into the Guinness and chug. If you don't drink it fast enough it will curdle and increasingly taste worse.

Um.... ew.

Curious as a Cat

1) Who's mind would you like to inhabit for a day, listening to their thoughts and decision-making process?
The President. I would never want to be President, but it sure would be interesting to see the thought process on the dizzying number of issues he deals with in a day.

2) What's the first thing you do when the power goes out?

At night, I use my phone flashlight app to locate a real flashlight. During the day, we skip the flashlight and turn off the chorus of beeping alarms on the power supplies on all the electronics in the house.

3) What's the last book you finished?
Andrew Young's The Politician: An Insider's Account of John Edwards's Pursuit of the Presidency and the Scandal That Brought Him Down

4) Show and Tell. What comes to mind first when you see this picture? Or, tell a story if it reminds you of one.

I was going to say it looks like a European breakfast. Then I noted the wine. It looks like something Kathy and I would have by the pool, except I would place it on a more appetizing color of table, or a pretty placemat.
