Housewives on the RidicuList

LuAnn de Lesseps found her way onto AC's RidicuList the other day. Watch and cringe here. Who is telling these women they can sing? Who?! And LuAnn is unbearably annoying this season on NYC. That is one rude woman, particularly for someone always lecturing others on manners. No one likes a hypocrite, Darling.

There were not any fireworks in Austin at all this year, due to the burn ban and drought. Sad. We were very patriotic though and bought a large appliance at the Independence Day appliance sales! Our cooktop will be installed next week.

With that purchase, we finally made the irreversible jump to change the colors of our kitchen appliances from dated white to black and/or stainless steel. We'll replace things as they break, so it won't be a huge financial layout at one time. Got the black porcelain cooktop, because KathyL just did her whole kitchen and informed us that porcelain cooktops are much easier to clean than stainless. She kept her black cooktop and bought everything else new in stainless. I'm not big on stainless, but everyone else and their dog is. We'll see what looks good whenever we need to get the next appliance replaced- probably the microwave...
