I emphatically recommend one of the most interesting sites I've discovered in a long time- Retronaut

They feature tons and tons of old photographs (and new), in the coolest collections. I can't even begin to tell you all the ones I've looked through already, with countless more to go. There are a lot of celebrity photos and historical pop culture images. Just visit the site and you'll see.

In other internet news, the Yahoo Messenger logo guy has put on about 40 pounds (and 20 years) since the last version.

The new things with the most recent YM version- tabbed chat windows (still not sure how I like this- I think it makes it too easy to type in the wrong window) and something called "recent contacts" that displays people you've most recently chatted with at the top of your list of contacts, so you can easily start conversations with "the regulars."
