The White Chocolate Myth

I tell people this all the time! Now, straight from Dave Zinczenko (of Eat This, Not That)...

FAKE FOOD: White chocolate isn't technically chocolate, since it contains no cocoa solids. (It's mostly fat and sugar.)

I try to tell you. Don't fall for the hype. Don't waste calories on it. White chocolate is not chocolate.

While we're on the subject, a friendly reminder that vanilla is not a flavor.

Bwahaha!--- When BP Spills Coffee at Work

After a lovely al fresco dinner at Torchy's (whose taco of the month is "The Damn BP"- shrimp, pickled jalapeños and onions, jalapeño tartar sauce, slaw and mango, with $1 from each taco going to Gulf Aid), Jeff and I spent last night catching up on all the Real Housewives shows we missed on vacation. Yes, he watches, because they're that good. Or he wants to participate in the spirited discussions amongst me and my girlfriends later.

That girl cracks me up. She is always running through life at a million miles per hour, and still never misses a moment to insert a clever remark... sometimes at a million miles per hour, so you have to rewind to even hear what she said. Don't miss it.
