My friends, I have returned to the Chi. Laura doesn't like the curls, so it's back to the straight hair. Darn. Just when I began to love them... not really...

So I'm Chi-ing, but at a lower setting, and with more product than I used to use. This morning Kimberly emails me, "LOVE the curls!" Oy.

Friday 5 (from the archives)

1. When you go to the beach, lake, or pool, are you more likely to lower yourself gradually into cold water or to take a determined plunge and get it over with?
Gradual. I know it isn't logical, but I can't psych myself out enough to dive in.

2. How is this like (or unlike) your approach to other tasks or ordeals?
Very much like my approach to other things. I'm pretty cautious when taking on tasks. I like to do my research and consider all the angles.

3. When someone gives you flowers, are you more likely to let them turn completely brown and gross before throwing them out, or to discard them the moment they take on that sick-flower look?
Discard the minute they look sick. It's just sad to look at sickly flowers.

4. How is this like (or unlike) your approach to other gifts, purchases, or relationships?
Very unlike my approach to relationships, but much like my approach to purchases. I do tend to get something new when an item is showing its wear or starting to give me trouble. With relationships, I'm usually the "hang in there and work it out" person.

5. Think of your favorite movie. Some people say that the reasons you love your favorite movie are related to what you value in romantic relationships. How is this true or untrue in your case?
I'll go with Love Actually. It is true that it represents what I value in romantic relationships. The movie delves into all different forms of love. I think in romantic relationships, it is vital that both people experience the various facets of love for each other, including passion, companionship, family bonds, etc.
